Introduction: Health care considers all areas of medical provision, from acute care with life-threatening situations, to end-of-life decisions. Even though multiracial population is involved in the medical field, we have seen that there is a tendency towards race-based care considerations. The Institute of Medicine had reported some evidence and concluded the existence of racial and ethnical disparities. We studied whether healthcare providers considered race as a modifier on the attention given and the difference among physicians, nurses, medical students, and other hospital members.
