PURPOSE: COPD is the third leading cause of death in the U.S. and approximately 15% of adults in U.S. are currently living with COPD. There is strong association between COPD and cardiovascular (CV) disease. However, the relation between COPD and CV health factors is yet to be defined. We examined the relation between lung function and CV health measured by American Heart Association’s (AHA) Life’s Simple 7™.
