INTRODUCTION: Pulmonary sclerosing hemangioma, first described in 1956, was thought to resemble sclerosing hemangiomas of the skin and be vascular in origin. Immunohistochemistry subsequently indicated that they actually derive from undifferentiated respiratory epithelium and are now appropriately named sclerosing pneumocytoma. It has recently been re-classified under “adenomas” from “miscellaneous tumors” in the 2015 WHO classification. We report a case of this rare lung tumor.
