INTRODUCTION: Primary pulmonary lymphoma (PPL) is defined as a clonal lymphoid proliferation arising from the lung and detected either clinically or radiologically.PPLs are rare clinical entities, representing only 0.5-1% of lung neoplasia cases. MALT(mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue) lymphoma is the most common type of indolent B-cell PPL. MALT lymphomas represent 8% of adult cases diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma1.
