INTRODUCTION: Cutaneous metastases from lung cancer are rare, however they can provide an important diagnostic clue in certain cases since the primary lung lesions often remain quiescent. Biopsy of cutaneous lesions can be used to diagnose metastatic lung cancer without subjecting the patient to invasive procedures.
