SESSION TITLE: Imaging

SESSION TYPE: Original Investigation Poster

PRESENTED ON: Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at 01:30 PM - 02:30 PM

PURPOSE: High-resolution computed tomography (HRCT) to date is the gold standard to identify interstitial lung diseases (ILD). However, transthoracic sonography (TS) is suggested as a noninvasive and radiation-free method for assessment of ILD. This study was designed to recognize the sonographic features of ILD. Furthermore, the possible correlations of these features with the functional and radiological parameters of the disease were assessed.
