INTRODUCTION: The pathological hallmark of sarcoidosis is non-caseating granulomas most frequently affecting the lungs, however extra-pulmonary involvement is common. In patients with extracardiac sarcoidosis (ECS), symptomatic cardiac involvement will develop in approximately 5% of patients.1
