PURPOSE: To approach the expressions, features and differences may be seen by flexible bronchoscopy in patients with farmer’s stonemason pneumoconiosis and coalworker‘s pneumoconiosis.

METHODS: Examinations by flexible bronchoscopy for patients with FSP and CWP up to the 2009 national diagnostic standard of anthracosilicosis were finished by local anaesthesia, and perfected; be related examinations and data.

RESULTS: 133 cases of patients with pneumoconiosis were examination by flexible bronchoscopy from March 2012 to July 2015, all patients were male, age 30-80 years old, mean 60.55 years old, in which farmer’s stonemason were 71 cases, whose were seasonal stonemason, operating time of every year were varies from 3-6 month more, sustained times over 10 years, and extract coal worker were 62 cases, operating time sustained over 10-20 years. All cases had chest examinations of Computed Tomography, changes of CT meted the diagnostic criteria of silicosis in 35 cases. The results shown that mean years old of FSP were younger 4.8 years than CWP, the count of pulmonary mass and tuberculosis in FSP were increased distinctly than CWP.30 cases of Neoplastic (42.25%) were discovered by flexible bronchoscopy were more distinctly than coalworker pneumoconiosis (13 cases,20.97%) (p<0.05), deformed bronchus and many sputum were also increased obviously, but bronchial swelling, narrow in patients with CWP were too evident many (3.24-4.87 times), percentage of coal- powder deposit of CWP were more about13% to FSP, other expressions (as hemorrhage, modification) of FSP were double or so than CWP.

CONCLUSIONS: under direct viewing by febre- bronchoscopy in farmer’s stonemason pneumoconiosis and coalworker pneumoconiosis. has various features respectively, it may be related to touch with various stive source. Lung damages of farmer’s stonemason pneumoconiosis are earlier and more serious than the coal worker's pneumoconiosis.
